Shipping
We only
deliver to UK Post Code areas, additional charges may apply depending on
location, for example NI, IOM, Highlands of Scotland and the Channel Islands.
We endeavour
to deliver all our items within two days of purchase via Interlink Express or
Royal Mail. Where appropriate, all items are tracked.
We are only able to dispatch to the address given with the order and
are not able to amend and address after the order is placed.
Collection
of goods is permissible but must be booked in advance via email. Customers who
just turn up with no appointment will not be accommodated.
Payments
We only accept payments by PAYPAL, no other payment is considered.
PLEASE do not ask for alternative payment methods, as none will be given.
All Items must be paid for within three days from the date of the
auction finishing, items that are not paid for within this time will be issued
with a non-paying bidder warning and after a further five days will be issued
as a non-paying bidder. ALL non-paying bidders will be blocked from bidding on
auctions or buy it now goods held by KMD-Retail
All
prices shown on our listings on eBay are inclusive of VAT at the current rate.
A full VAT invoice is enclosed with all goods that are dispatched.
Terms & Conditions
All goods, whether Auction or BIN are
sold under the UK Distance Selling Rules.
In all cases (except where indicated,
these are second user items, we endeavour to be as accurate as possible with
our descriptions. However, these items are subject to wear and tear and may
show some signs of this. Our definition of “Wear & Tear” is where an item
may have slight marks, scratches or dents.
Auction Laptops are defined as working
where the laptop boots to bios. We do not load any software to test such parts
as USB’s PCMCIA ports, graphics, wireless, etc. we only identify that the
laptop has these types of peripherals on-board based on the manufacturers
description of the item. Any parts such as hard drives, CD drives and memories,
when tested, are only tested to basic functional level. In most cases these Laptops will have a full
description. Wireless functionality is based on the manufacturer’s description;
we do not check or test to see if the wireless card is in situ or whether the
functionality works, except where indicated.
Where Items are listed for Spares or
Repair, this means that they may either be not working or have some damage to
them. Where they are defined as not working, this means that technically they
have not be tested further to identify any faults, this also means that where a
machine is not working or does not power up we cannot guarantee that all parts
such as screens MotherBoards, memory, etc will work, there may also be
peripheral items missing such as screws, pads etc.. Based on this, these items
are not returnable and not refundable.
Any operating systems that are on items,
unless otherwise indicated in the listing, are there purely for demonstration
purposes. It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that all operating
systems are properly licensed. Because of this, not all hardware drivers may be
installed.
Batteries of any type, whether tested or
not are not guaranteed.
By
purchasing any item sold by KMD Retail via EBay, you the customer, agree to
abide by all the terms and conditions set out above.
Returns Policy
You have
the right to return purchased goods within 14 days of receipt, however, this
does not apply to certain items, i.e. Perishable or personalised goods.
We must be
advised within 14 days of your intention to return the goods. We will not
accept goods back that have been used and we expect goods to be returned in the
same condition as purchased. Goods must be returned immediately after
notification at your own expense.
In
order to process returns quickly you MUST enclose your eBay username and all
documentation that was sent with the item.
Grading
Where
Items are subject to grading, the grading we use is as follows.
Grade A

virtually "As New" condition.
