Description:
It's not often we find ourselves preferring the next iteration of a printer but with the Ecotank series we've found pleasantly surprised by the recent releases and the improvements included over their previous version(s).
In this case the L805 takes the L800, which already replaced the Epson P50 (Artisan 50) and adds wireless functionality, making it much more suitable for home or small office environments. It does still lack any SD, Memory stick or other direct connectivity options (You'll need the L810 or L850 for those) but it is still a good contender.
Both the Epson L805 (and earlier L800) incorporate all the advantages of the earlier P50 plus the inclusion of built-in Continuous Ink Supply system. The design does away with the need for chips, frequent cartridge changes (or third party chip resets) and even opens up the option of purchasing cheaper compatible inks for end-users who want to consider alternative inks.
As per Epson claims for the EcoTank range, this printer reduces the amount of waste ink generated due to the lack of cartridges. Removes the need for any third party modifications and provides a printer capable of printing excellent photos, CD's, DVD's and more besides with it's six colour ink system.
Plenty more about these printers has been written but for anyone looking to replace an earlier P50 workhorse this unit is ideal and of course the wireless functionality makes it easier to place without wires everywhere.

- Warranty covers manufacturing defect and or fault caused by normal use

Returns:
- In the rare event where a return is required, authorisation must be requested and granted by OctoInkjet BEFORE returning the item. This is to ensure that appropriate packaging, procedure and shipping can be arranged.
- Any product returned without prior authorisation or improperly packed will be rejected.
- All printer serial numbers are noted prior to dispatch.
- Return of duplicate/alternate item will be rejected and reported to the relevant authorities, including eBay.
- This printer is not (at time of listing) distributed by Epson UK. As a result Epson UK may refuse to honour any manufacturer warranty and/or provide support.
- To offset the above, OctoInkjet offers its own warranty for a period of 12 months from purchase (See Warranty section above for details).
